Bringing a Taste of India to Your Home: A Review of TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® Pods
Chai, also known as masala chai, is a traditional spiced tea that originated in India. The word “chai” means “tea” in Hindi, and the drink is made by brewing black tea with a blend of spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and black pepper.
If you can’t travel to India to experience the authentic flavor of chai, you can still enjoy the taste by ordering chai at a local restaurant or coffee shop or making it at home. The TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cups allow you to brew a delicious cup of chai in the comfort of your own home.

TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cups® Review
As a blogger, I often get sent items to sample and share with my audience. Some are better than others. I received a package from TAZO®. I could not wait to open it. It was beautifully packaged. I opened the box, and it looked like a display you find behind the cabinet or counter of a fancy restaurant. It was so beautiful, I had to take a picture to share.
My box included some TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods, a cup, and a spoon. I sent my mom a picture with an invitation to join me to try out these chai tea K-Cups®. She wrote back instantly, ready for a sample.
As a busy mom, blogger, and educator, I don’t have much time to pamper myself. Coffee and tea provide a little escape/pamper. I love trying various teas and coffees. I have made my own chai tea at home, but it took a long time, and haven’t tried it again. When I got these easy-to-use TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cups® pods to review, I was happy to be able to have some chai tea at home without the long preparation.
Explore a World of Flavor

I found out that TAZO has partnered with New York Times Bestselling author and host Padma Lakshmi, of Indian heritage, to celebrate the release of the new K-Cup® pods. You can learn more at TAZO.com/chai and find out where to buy TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods.
Taste Test
Preparation was easy. You mix a packet of the provided powder with a K-Cup® of TAZO® Chai Latte. It’s that simple. After one sip, I knew I would love these new K-Cups® pods. There is a nice balance among the spices and milk. It was sweet with a little bit of a kick. I could see myself enjoying this chai latte on (rare) lazy weekend mornings or for a quick afternoon escape/pick me up.
